Sheltered/retirement housing schemes allow residents to live independently with the option of professional support at hand when required. They are designed to accommodate elderly persons, however other people may be considered pending their requirements, for example in disabled people's accommodation. A number of providers operate sheltered/retirement schemes in Torfaen. For more information contact Torfaen Homeseeker.
Retirement/Sheltered housing offers independent living to residents, backed up by the availability of professional support. Residents live in a safe and secure environment, supported by a friendly high quality service which emphasises the resident’s right to make their own choices and decisions within their own home.
